Chesterfield Township MI home sales February 2008
Not only was February a long cold month for those of us in Chesterfield Township but it was a promising month in terms of homes that sold. I would like to say that neither sleet nor snow would keep home buyers away, but I won't bore you with the USPS mantra. Ok, I said it anyway. Inclement weather did
not stop home buyers in Chesterfield Township last month! 2 things stand out for me when I was compiling Februarys sales report: * Total days on the market decreased by 21 days in comparison to the previous February. * Sales prices were considerably higher - $18,717 higher than they were in February of 2007! I've said it before and I hope to be able to keep on saying it: We're seeing baby steps each month to recovery in the Macomb County area.
